In recent years, the Chinese Government has boosted the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Greater Bay Area), which has brought prosperous prospects for Hong Kong economy and attracted many local brands. However, Hong Kong SMEs and brands may not only unfamiliar with the market and government policies, but also lack connections and resources in Mainland China. These may hinder them to develop their businesses in the Greater Bay Area. In order to assist enterprises to explore the Greater Bay Area market, the Hong Kong Exporters Association has launched a business platform called "Hong Kong Smart Design, Sparkle in Greater Bay Area 2022" for the first time. Through comprehensive online and offline activities and promotion, the exposure of the local original brands can be expanded in the Mainland. Moreover, the platform will organize business summit and seminars to help local business owners to learn about the latest policies and news in the Greater Bay Area to help them entering the market.
