Takunpao has interviewed 3 designers who have joined the project “Hong Kong Smart Design, Sparkle in GBA 2022”, including Ms. Amy Mak, Marketing Director of Good Season Creation Ltd., Mr. Thmoas Wong, Founder of Ha! Design, and Mr. Tommy Cheung, Founder of Slowwood Creation Ltd. to share views for doing business in the Mainland market.
Some of the interviewees are already manufacturing their original design products in Mainland while others are still observing the development of the GBA region. They encountered problems when they first tried to tap into the Mainland market such as legal procedures, tax policies, and intellectual property rights issues, etc. By participating in the Project, the designers hoped to gain more knowledge and insights for operating in the Mainland market and eventually capture the opportunities in the GBA region.
