Organized by the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association (HKEA) and sponsored by Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, "Hong Kong Smart Design, Sparkle in Greater Bay Area 2022" is a business platform that aims to introduce Hong Kong original design products and design services to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) through a series of Business-to-Business (B2B) trade fairs, business matching sessions with Mainland buyers, and Business-to-Customer (B2C) showcases and pop-up stores to bring new development opportunities for the Hong Kong design industry, export community, manufacturers and SMEs.

To further deepen the cooperation within the region, "Hong Kong Smart Design, Sparkle in GBA 2022" is to consciously build the brand of Hong Kong original design products in the GBA, generating a synergy promotional effect for the Hong Kong SMEs.

Since 2012, we have organized the “Hong Kong Smart Design Awards” (HKSDA) to unveil the brilliance of Hong Kong original design to the world. This project is to carry forward the dynamic momentum of the HKSDA – in addition to boosting the creative force unleashed in the competition, we also widely invite other local companies to participate in this platform to showcase the high-quality Hong Kong products to the larger stage of the GBA. Through this platform, we expect to explore more business opportunities, bringing the local industry sustainable development for years to come.

Through "Hong Kong Smart Design, Sparkle in GBA 2022", we will assist the local manufacturers and designers to showcase their brilliant Hong Kong original designs. It aims at fostering a remarkable cluster of design peers and companies; and with their collective effort in promoting Hong Kong as Asia's creative capital.
